Over the years the number one complaint of central vacuum owners is "Where do I store that bulky hose?" Doc-IT is the answer. A hose storage device is located in your walls with a small door allowing you access to the hose handle. The Doc-IT is fully electric allowing you to powerfully clean up to 3000 square feet of living space with a single hose and then store it away effortlessly with a simple touch. For larger homes add an additional Doc-IT or two. The Doc-iT is the only retractable hose system that allows you to connect a 120 volt electric powerhead right at the hose handle. With Doc-IT there is no need for an extension cord to run your powerhead. A motor is activated by fingertip controls on the handle grip allowing you to release the hose retract the hose and turn your central vacuum system on from the handle. The location for the installation should be where the maximum coverage in the home is possible typically near the center of the house. This can be achieved by using a 50' measuring tape or pre-measured 50' cord for 45' hose. Use a 60' measuring tape or a pre-measured 60' cord for a 55' hose.
